Appalachian Brooms
Hand made brooms can be beautiful and useful additions to any household. By learning this traditional skill and building upon it, you can take it to a new artistic level. Use hand-tying and stitching techniques to make superb sweeping brooms and great gifts.

Learn broom handle selection, preparation, surface finishing, and broom corn selection. Learn the history of broom making. This class will prepare you to move forward with your skills and continue to develop this unique craft.

All skill levels welcome.

Product: Floor sweeper broom, round cobweb broom, short-handled hearth broom, whisk broom, and pot scrubber.
