Introduction to Organic Gardening/Farming
The breadth of topics covered will include fundamental organic principles and practices, seed starting, garden planning, soil preparation and care, transplanting, direct seeding, pest issues, harvesting, options for controlling weeds, extending the season, when to plant and harvest, year-round planting, cover crops and more. This series is packed with usable information for all
gardeners hoping to produce more and better food.
This class will consist of three 2-hour sessions held on consecutive Wednesdays.
Prior to the series is a FREE introductory class to highlight topics to be covered. We request registration for the free introductory classes to know how many people to plan for.
