Soap Making

IMG_2035
Come join us for a day of fun and natural soap making! Our soap teacher, Katheylynn Gold, has been making soap for over 10 years. Learn techniques using the highest quality soap oils, natural colorants, organic botanicals, and healing essential oils.

You will have a hands on experience and leave the class with soap of your own creation suited to your own specific needs. You may also pick up a bit of folklore and a few “tricks” that Katheylynn has learned along the way.

Katheylynn’s soap (Curvey Girl Soap) is offered at several Kalamazoo locations including Kalamazoo People’s Food Co-op, Bank Street Winter Market, South Haven Farmers Market (summer), and as a fund raiser for Ministry with Community as “Soap for Hope”.

Students should bring an apron to protect their clothing and some paper to put their soap mold on to transport it back to their home.

Product: soap, soap mold, recipe packet
