Tillers Oxtrot 2017

May 21 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
$20 - $40

1st Annual Tillers Oxtrot – a rural trail race

Sunday May 21 at 8:00 am

IMG_5654Come experience an entirely unique trail race at our 430 acre farm in Scotts, MI, just 12 miles from downtown Kalamazoo. Runners will traverse rolling pasture and hay fields, hard wood stands, wetlands, fence rows, a branch of the Portage River, and historic farmsteads.  They’ll also mingle with our flock of Merino sheep, Milking Shorthorn cattle, draft horses and oxen.

All proceeds from this event will go to support Tillers’ important agricultural development work overseas.

Runners can choose to complete one of three races: 3.5 miles ($20), 7 miles ($30), and 14 miles ($40).  Prices will increase by five dollars after 4/21.

Runners will be competing for the coveted Oxtrot Medal hand-forged by our very own blacksmith John Sarge.

There are event t-shirts from Salomon available for the first 40 registrants.

Please indicate your gender and size in the “Additional Information” box as you proceed to checkout.
