Tillers offers classes in farming and logging with draft animals, as well as traditional farm homesteading and artisanal skills, such as blacksmithing, woodworking, coopering, beekeeping, cheesemaking, caring for livestock, canning and preserving food, and much more. Registration- Please note, some changes have been made to the registration details!
Class size is limited so register early! A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the course tuition fee reserves your spot. Call to register with a Visa or MasterCard, or mail in our registration form with a check or your credit card information.
Tillers offers a number of discounts to help with class tuition. Only ONE discount can be applied per registration. Members receive 10% off course tuition fees. Membership is only $40 a year and includes members of your immediate family. First time members receive 15% off class tuition during the first year of your membership. Non-mambers registering for multiple classes can receive a 5% discount. Register multiple people for one class and receive 10% off. In order to receive your discount, please call the office or mail in your registration using the registration form above.
Tillers classes include lunch (unless otherwise specified). Please inform us of any special dietary needs ahead of time so that we can accomodate your needs.
Call for available on-site lodging at the Cook's Mill guest house, from $40 to $75 a night, or for information on lodging for classes held at DreamAcres in Wykoff, MN. Lodging at Cook's Mill includes kitchen access. Sorry, no pets or smoking. Staying at Tillers not only offers a convenient place to sleep, but an opportunity to share stories and friendships with other Tillers students. Please note: minors staying in the guest house or camping on Tillers' property must be accompanied by an adult. No pets or smoking.

Cancellations and Refunds
Tillers reserves the right to cancel classes due to low registration. In the event that Tillers cancells, paid tuition will be fully refunded. If you cancel your registration with at least one week's notice, any tuition in excess of the 30% non-refundable portion will be refunded. If you cancel your registration less than a week before the class or fail to attend a class, Tillers may retain your 30% deposit and the remainder of your paid tuition will be refunded.
