This two-day is a very hands-on class and unique opportunity to learn this fascinating technique for duplicating objects. Fuel options, furnace & crucible designs, and art of pattern making & molding are all explored. Practical knowledge will be applied by constructing a small furnace and making aluminum castings. Beginner class. Students are encouraged to bring a small, simple object for use as a casting pattern!
