Welsh Staked Bench

Create a dining or hallway bench 3′ to 4′ long using wedged tenon joinery. We will shape the legs and seat with traditional tools, shape stretchers on the wood lathe and assemble with the reliable wedged round tenon system. This two-day class is based on the traditional Welsh design used in chairmaking. A sturdy design that will be in use for many years.
